LLSC organizes seasonal series of keelboat races year round.  LLSC's largest racing event of the year is the annual Lewisville Cup Regatta. The Lewisville Cup brings in boats and competitors from all over Texas and neighboring states for great racing and lots of fun. The event is also a chance for the best sailing clubs in Dallas to compete for the "Pride of the lake" --The Lewisville Cup.  Special events vary year to year to keep things fresh. These offbeat events include Valentine's Couples Races, Long Distance Races and Relay Races.

Each Summer LLSC offers a Sailing Seminar open to LLSC members and the public. The seminar is composed of a mixture of classroom lectures and on the water instruction. The curriculum can be tailored to the goals of the individual student, whether they would like to learn the basics or pick up a few new racing tips.  In the past, we have invited guest speakers and coaches from various sail lofts.
