·         The race will be in a Pursuit Race format. It will start in front of DCYC, go to Sneaky Pete’s, and then finish at the Pier 121 cut.

·         There will be no skippers meeting. The race committee will monitor VHF channel 69.

·         Find your PHRF rating in Table Two attached, adjust you ratings as follows:

·         Add 15 points to your rating for no spinnaker.

·         Add 3 points if you have a cruising roller furling jib with a sail cover.

·         Add 3 points for a fixed prop.

·         Find the starting time that corresponds with your boat's PHRF handicap rating in Table One. The start sequence will be at 1 pm.

·         Set you timer or clock to the official clock located in the Clubhouse on the first floor by the South entrance. This is a Radio Controlled Clock.

·         Start at your designated starting time between the RED and GREEN buoy, which are just West of DCYC Clubhouse (N 33 09.392 W 096 59.874).

·         Proceed to the Old Cut, not the new one at Party Cove.

·         Proceed through the OLD Cut (N 33 07.376   W96 59.404) heading southeast.

·         MUST USE THE OLD CUT.

·         Skippers choice – proceed around any “no wake” buoy outside the breakwater entrance to Sneaky Pete’s / Eagle Point Marina. Can round either direction. (There are at least 5 buoys the last time I visited).

·         Proceed to the Pier 121 cut. The finish will be an imaginary North/South line within 50 feet either side of the Government No Wake buoy just outside (West) the cut.

·         The distance is 11.4 Nautical Miles.

·         Since the handicap time corrections are accounted for in the start times, first boat to the finish line WINS!
